I’m 55. I am a wife and a mom to two grown kids. I graduated from college and worked as an elementary teacher for over a decade, until I found my way to personal training.
I have been active most of my life, growing up in a tiny town and attending a small school where you played every sport. My love for being active continued through college until motherhood. I eventually found my way back to exercise participating in high intensity cardio classes using light until a friend asked me to do a challenge at her gym. Long story short, that led to working with a personal trainer lifting weights to gain muscle and with a fitness nutrition specialist on my nutrition to support fat loss, building muscle, and finally, living at maintenance. I loved feeling strong and learning how impactful the quantity and quality of food had on my health and body composition.
I am not a fitness pro or competitor, although I enjoy following the journey of those who have that as a goal. I am a “general population” person with established daily habits that make me feel my best. I love helping people establish weight lifting as a habit into their lives.

“Never, never, never give up.”
